Beef Ingredients
1 pound 90/10 or 80/20 hamburger or chicken breast
1 teaspoon avocado oil
1/2 onion chopped into small pieces
1 tablespoon minced garlic or 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon of chili powder

Taco Spice
1 tablespoon paprika
2/3 tablespoon onion powder
2/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 tablespoon lemon pepper
1/4 tablespoon black pepper
1/4 tablespoon ground cumin
1/4 tablespoon dried parsley
1/4 tablespoon dried oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional if you want a hotter mix or my favorite Habanero spice)

Rub the oregano and parsley between the palms of your hands until it is nearly a powder.
Put all the ingredients in a small mixing bowl and stir until the ingredients are equally dispersed.
Use 1 tablespoon of seasoning per 1 pound of meat

Heat pan with oil, then add onion. Cook until transparent.
Add ground beef to pan, breaking into small pieces, continuing to stir until all meat is brown.
Add garlic and portion chili powder and continue stirring for 1 minute.
Add Taco Spice and continue stirring for 2 minutes.
Put meat on plate with paper towel to help remove grease.

Chopped Plum Tomato
Shredded Cheese (Mexican Blend, Cheddar, Mozzarella, etc.)
Sour Cream
Black Olives
Salsa (mild, medium or hot)
Avocado or Guacamole
Chopped onion or scallion
Chopped cilantro (NOT on Kathy’s tacos)
Pico De Gallo
Peppers (Jalapeno, Bell, etc.)
Corn kernels
Lime Juice
Black Beans
Refried Beans
